We are looking for a talented freelancer to help us amplify our voice, connect with entrepreneurs, and showcase the exciting work we do in the startup ecosystem during the course of this spring.

Luminar Ventures is one of the most active pre-seed and seed investors in the Nordics. We look to back the most ambitious entrepreneurs building amazing companies that will have a significant impact in its field. To date Luminar has backed companies such as Greenely, Normative, Mynt, Carla and many more.

We are now looking for a freelancer to join us part-time during the spring to support us with marketing and communication. As an integral part of our team, you will work with some of the most exciting early-stage entrepreneurs in the Nordics together with a small team that values flat hierarchies and open communication. The position will be based at our head office in Stockholm, together with the rest of the team (team Luminar). It is also possible to work remotely from time to time.

What You’ll Do

As our Content Producer & Digital Marketing Specialist, you will:

• Content Creation: Develop high-quality blog posts, articles, case studies, and thought leadership pieces about topics like venture capital, startups, innovation, and industry trends.
• Social Media Management: Create and schedule engaging posts across platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, etc.) to grow our online presence.

• Newsletter Production: Design and write monthly newsletters that keep our audience informed about our portfolio companies, industry insights, and events.
• Website Updates: Collaborate with our team to keep website content fresh and relevant.
• Campaign Management: Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to promote events, reports, or initiatives.
• Analytics & Optimization: Track performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, website traffic) and optimize strategies based on data insights.
• Support the Luminar team in events planning and project management.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in content production and digital marketing (preferably in vc/finance, tech, or startups).
• Strong communication skills.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
• Familiar with different AI tools and how to leverage them for efficiency, creativity and engagement.
• Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn is a must)
• A good understanding of SEO principles and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-Haves

• Knowledge of the venture capital or startup ecosystem.
• Experience from event planning and management.
• Graphic design skills.
